"Customer" or "you" or "your" refers to the individual or entity utilizing our storage services.
"Goods" means the items stored by us on behalf of the customer from time to time.
"Storage services" means the safekeeping and handling of goods at our designated storage facility.
"HRA Transportation" or "we" or "us" refers to HRA Transportation (Pty) Ltd, Registration number 2022/340199/07.
Storage Services
Storage services provided by us to you are subject to these terms and any written agreement signed by us. Any additional conditions stated by you are only binding if expressly agreed upon in writing by us.
Tariffs and Fees
Fees for storage services will be as quoted at the time of agreement. If no specific quote exists, our standard fees will apply (available upon request).
Invoices are issued monthly, and payment is due within 30 days. Late payments are subject to an interest rate based on the Standard Bank of South Africa Limited's prime rate plus 3%.
If fees exceed the credit limit approved for you, all services may be suspended until payment is received.
Goods
The customer must ensure goods are appropriately packed and marked for storage, bearing any necessary labels for identification.
We reserve the right to refuse to store any hazardous, illegal, or perishable items. Any such goods may be removed or disposed of at the customer's cost.
HRA Transportation is not responsible for verifying the quantity, quality, or nature of the stored goods.
Insurance and Risk
HRA Transportation provides basic coverage for risks directly related to our handling and storage. However, the risk of goods remains primarily with you, and we recommend comprehensive insurance for any additional coverage.
HRA Transportation is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses or damages, even if resulting from our handling.
Procedure and Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring goods are ready for storage and for providing necessary documentation.
We do not provide additional labour or equipment for loading or unloading unless agreed upon in advance, in which case additional fees may apply.
Indemnity
You indemnify HRA Transportation against any loss, damage, costs, or third-party claims arising out of the storage services, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by us.
Domicilium
Notices and documentation will be sent to your designated address or contact information. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details at least 7 business days in advance.
Jurisdiction and Legal Costs
Any legal disputes will be under the jurisdiction of the Magistrates’ Court, and the customer agrees to bear all legal costs, including attorney fees, should we be required to take legal action for any breach of these terms.
